We have an exciting new opportunity for a Band 4 Nursing Associate
Vacancy Type: Full-Time
Contract Type: Temporary
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: Ongoing
Shift Days/Contract length: Band 4 Nursing Associate will be into a rota and will be placed on General wards
Shift Times: To be confirmed
Duties:
- Providing direct patient care
- "Delivering person-centred care to patients with a range of physical and mental health needs."
- "Assisting with personal care, nutrition, hydration, and mobility."
- "Supporting patients with activities of daily living while promoting independence."
- "Monitoring patients' condition and recognising deterioration."

Experience/Skills Required: Clinical skills Depending on training, competence, and local policy, Nursing Associates may:
- "Take and interpret routine observations using NEWS2."
- "Perform venepuncture and cannulation."
- "Carry out ECGs."
- "Undertake wound care and dressing changes."
- "Manage urinary catheters."
- "Monitor blood glucose levels."
- "Collect clinical specimens."
- "Assist with enteral feeding."
- "Administer medicines within their scope of practice and employer policy."
