Job Summary

Are you currently looking for an exciting opportunity to work for one of the largest NHS Trusts in the country? Do you have aspirations to try a new area of work or ready for your next challenge? If the answer is yes, we can help make that happen!

We have a fantastic role available within our Executive / Senior Management Admin Team working alongside and supporting the administrative function of the site Admin Office. You will support the Director of Nursing, Director of Operations and Associate Director of Communications in the smooth running of a busy and fast-paced office and will create working relationships with Senior Managers and Trust Directors.

Main Duties, Tasks & Skills Required

The role is supporting three very busy Directors, and the main duties include:

  • Diary management
  • Meeting coordination
  • Meeting attendance
  • Minute taking
  • Producing agendas
  • Meeting minutes
  • Action logs
  • Reports
  • Providing general PA support

The role is located at Solihull Hospital and is full-time, working Monday - Friday during core office hours.

Person specification

Qualifications

Essential

  • Good General Education (e.g. GCSE English and Maths A-C GCSE LEVEL 9-4)
  • Business Administration NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience in an Administrative environment

Experience

Essential

  • Experience of dealing with the public / customer service experience
  • Experience of working in a secretarial / administrative role with a proven track record of problem solving
  • Good organisational skills
  • Previous experience of transcribing formal minutes
  • Able to use own initiative and deal with the unpredictable
  • Able to work under pressure and to multi-task
  • Able to work to deadlines
