We are seeking enthusiastic and experienced assistant psychologists to join Psychological Therapies within Perinatal Community Teams in BSMHFT, providing mental health services to the culturally and socially diverse population of Birmingham and Solihull.

The Role
The band 5 Assistant Psychologist position works across perinatal supporting our specialist pathways including parent/infant and family therapy.
Our services are innovative and focused on providing the right care to people in the right place. Clinical staff have a high degree of engagement with quality improvement projects which aim at improving recovery, providing parent-infant and think family focused culturally responsive care.
About Us

You will be joining a friendly and supportive Psychology Service which offers excellent opportunities for research, personal and professional development and is committed to providing training and quality supervision. We often host trainee clinical psychology and student psychologist placements on in-patient wards and opportunities exist for informal peer support. Our 4,000 clinical and support staff help us to improve mental health wellbeing and meet the needs of the 70,000 people we serve each year. We provide a range of mental healthcare services across Birmingham and Solihull, as well as specialized services nationally. We also offer medical, nursing and psychology training and are proud of our international reputation for both research and innovation.
