Job Description
About the Role
Lime Unit is an all-male acute mental health unit looking for NMC registered mental health nurses trained in Psychiatry.
Lime Unit will support and encourage you to be the best you can be in your role.
We want staff with a commitment to the acute inpatient setting who want to work alongside patients in crisis and aid them with recovery.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and maintain a therapeutic environment.
- Manage shifts and keep a safe working environment for both patients and staff. Work in a flexible way, including early, late, and night shifts, weekends, and bank holidays.
- Be able to respond to physical aggression and verbal aggression, have resilience, and de-escalation skills.
- Work in a MDT team, have confidence, and ability to participate in meetings.
- Acting as a keyworker to allocated patients.
