This is an exciting time to be working at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation, one of the biggest NHS Trusts in the UK, delivering care to more than 1.6 million people a year through our three main hospitals: Barnet, Chase Farm, and Royal Free.
Royal Free Hospital
Royal Free Hospital in Hampstead consists of 21 operating theatres, including the Day Surgery Unit and Labour Ward theatres. The department offers services to patients, including specialties such as:
- Plastics and Breast
- Trauma
- Hepatobiliary and Liver Transplantation
- Renal Cancer and Robotics
- Colorectal and Robotics
- Vascular
- Urology
- A 24-hour CEPOD service
It is a particularly exciting time to join the Royal Free Hospital theatres as it continues to develop services for the benefit of the community and support the Trust with its aims and values.

About the Role
In order to respond to the demand, we are looking to appoint passionate, enthusiastic, and motivated Band 5 scrub practitioners/nurses with or without scrub experience who want to develop their skills further in the different specialties. We have a compassionate Leadership team and a supportive Education Team who is eager to support you in your professional development aspirations and your wellbeing.
