Job Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a professional to join our close-knit team, here in the Harrow and Hillingdon Early Intervention in Psychosis (EIP) service.

You will work with children and adults between the ages of 14 to 35 who present to mental health services with a presentation of First Episode of Psychosis (FEP). You will be providing tailored and bespoke packages of care that promote mental well-being, a recovery focused approach, and a range of interventions in order to facilitate this.

At CNWL we are fully committed and proud to develop our own workforce through training and development opportunities, and this post is no different.

If you are an enthusiastic RMN, who is keen to try and upskill themselves and advance into becoming a more established community practitioner, then we want to hear from you.

This role is a development opportunity and would suit newly qualified RMN’s undergoing their preceptorship or existing band 5 RMN’s working through competencies and objectives set out for the role. The goal is to achieve these objectives within 18 months, thus developing into a band 6 RMN within the team.

Main duties of the job

The role requires you to care coordinate a varied caseload to patients between the ages of 14-35. You will require excellent engagement skills, demonstrating an anti-oppressive and enabling approach to co-production with your patients. You should be skilled in assessing mental health, creating risk assessments, safety plans, and crisis and contingency plans.

Our EIP Practitioners are specially trained and committed to using these skills to offer nursing which is centred around working with an individual’s strengths in order to maximise autonomy and to deliver NICE concordant care for First Episode Psychosis.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
