We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and passionate registered nurse to join our friendly team within the Cumberland Urgent Treatment Centre.
We are a proud team who are able to provide you with experience and skills which will help to enhance your future career opportunities.
Preference will be given to internal Trust staff, as well as ‘Priority’ and 'At Risk' status including NHS At Risk staff throughout Devon who are able to display recent relevant experience as dictated by the Person Specification.
Having undertaken additional approved training and assessment as part of the role, the post holder will work as part of the assessment and treatment team as a Band 5 Nurse within agreed Trust guidelines and local policies and protocols for the best outcome of nursing care.
- To assist in the development and implementation of Directorate policy and nursing strategy and Band 5 Nurse competencies
- To act as resource and facilitator to educate and train other healthcare professionals as required.
- Will contribute positively to the development of the Urgent Treatment and Minor Injuries Service process under the leadership and guidance of the UTC/MIU Lead Emergency Practitioner and UTC/MIU Modern Matron.
