An exciting opportunity for a Children’s Nurse
A position has opened up for a highly motivated Children’s Nurse to join an established team of Children’s Complex Care Nurses in Birmingham. This is a city-wide service that provides personalized specialist nursing support to children and families with a variety of highly complex physical health needs.
Service Overview
- Provides bespoke commissioned packages of care to children within their own homes, schools, and other community locations.
- Operates seven days a week, 24 hours a day.
Role Description
If you are an experienced Children’s Nurse with enhanced clinical skills and advanced communication skills, you may be the candidate we are looking for to join our busy team. This post will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to develop rewarding therapeutic relationships with children and families in a community setting.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care according to agreed standards which are set and monitored.
- Provide training and supervision to other team members, including health care assistants, parents, and family members, ensuring their competence in meeting the care needs of specific children and young people.
