The West Wiltshire Community Mental Health Team currently has a vacancy within our Psychosis Pathway. We are looking for a motivated and compassionate practitioner who is dedicated to supporting people living with severe and enduring mental health conditions.

We believe that empowering our staff to achieve their full potential directly improves outcomes for the people we support. In return, we offer a supportive team environment, opportunities for professional development, and the chance to make a real impact within your community.

This is a community role with a base in Shearwater Lodge Warminster, there is an aspect of being able to have access to independent transport to visit service users.

Right to Work in the UK: This position is not eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship. Applicants must already hold the legal right to work in the UK at the time of application, as the organisation is unable to support sponsorship for this post. This is because it is part time hours therefore does not meet the UKVI salary threshold for sponsorship.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

We are a multidisciplinary team consisting of a talented pool of both registered and non-registered mental health professionals.

We have moved away from the use of care programme approach (CPA) and now work with service users and carers under the “your team, your conversation, your plan" approach, which is a strength based, intervention led model of care, that supports the individual to address their own identified needs. We support the conversation through the use of a personal well-being and safety plan, as well the use of patient related outcome measures (dialogue +).

We are the lead provider of healthcare for people with serious mental illness, learning disabilities and autism across Bath and North East Somerset (BaNES), Swindon and Wiltshire, and Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire.

We aim to provide High Quality, Compassionate Care everywhere, every day. This means our services will be safe, clinically effective and provide a positive all round experience for our patients, families and carers. And we believe passionately in treating everyone with kindness, respect and empathy.
