Community Nurse Practitioner Job Purpose
- Leadership: The District Nurse provides leadership for the delivery of patient care within the area of responsibility.
- Management: The District Nurse has day-to-day managerial responsibility for the area, including supervision and deployment of staff.
- Assessment and Evaluation: The District Nurse will have responsibility for assessment of care needs, evaluation of care plans, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to patients.
- Accountability: The post holder has responsibility and accountability for maintaining both clinical and staff governance.
