Job Opportunity: Radiographer in CT and MRI

We are seeking an experienced Radiographer in CT and MRI to join our dedicated team at West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals Trust.

Previous MRI/CT Training Is Essential.

Our Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) is now live and will offer enhanced services to patients.

About the Role

The post holder will participate in our 7-day working rota, featuring long shifts that provide ample time off during the week.

You will primarily be based at St Albans City Hospital, with the flexibility to work at our other locations, Hemel Hempstead Hospital and Watford General Hospital.

Responsibilities

  • The development of the Community Diagnostic Centre, equipped with modern CT and MRI scanners, will enhance service quality for patients by increasing scanning capacity and reducing referral-to-treatment times.
  • Act as an effective member of the Radiology team, delivering high-quality imaging services to patients.
  • Mentor radiology staff and students.
  • Complete and maintain records for QA testing.
  • Adhere to IRMER17 regulations while performing radiology examinations to the highest standards.
