A leading public sector organisation in Northern Ireland is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join its established finance team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a large and complex organisation, providing strategic financial support and partnering with key stakeholders to help drive effective decision-making and service delivery.
Your new role
We are recruiting for a Finance Business Partner to join a leading public sector organisation in Belfast. Reporting to the Finance Business Manager, you will play a key role in delivering financial management, budgeting, forecasting and business support services across a diverse portfolio of stakeholders. Duties will include preparing management accounts, producing financial analysis and budget reports, supporting budget holders, assisting with annual budget setting, year-end accounts preparation, forecasting, variance analysis and providing financial advice to support informed decision-making. You will also work closely with senior managers to drive financial performance, improve reporting processes and support organisational objectives.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role:
- You will be a part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA, ICAEW, ICAS or ICAI foundation level completed) with at least two years' experience in an accounting or finance role
- This should include a minimum of one year's experience within a financial management or management accounts environment, including budget monitoring, reporting and supporting budget holders.
- You will have experience working with a wide range of stakeholders, strong analytical skills, and advanced Excel and financial systems knowledge.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
