This post is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract for a Band 6 Infant Feeding Specialist.
Are you passionate about supporting families to give their babies the best start in life? Do you have knowledge in infant feeding and a commitment to promoting responsive feeding practices?
We are seeking a dedicated Infant Feeding Specialist to join our maternity and neonatal team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on infant health and parental wellbeing.
Interview: September 2nd
- Provide expert advice to parents and carers on infant feeding
- Support the Lead Infant feeding specialist on the implementation of Baby Friendly Initiative standards.
- Deliver staff training and education to promote consistent, evidence-based feeding support.
- Work collaboratively with midwives, health visitors, neonatal staff, and community teams.
- Support audits, data collection, and service development to improve infant feeding outcomes
- Deputise for the band 7 in their absence, provide clinical skills within educational and clinical areas.
