Responsibilities

  • Are you an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist looking to make a real difference?
  • We are looking for a motivated and compassionate Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our friendly and supportive Intermediate Care Team.
  • This is an exciting opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team dedicated to helping people recover, regain independence and remain safely in their own homes.
  • You will work with individuals following illness, injury, or hospital admission, delivering rehabilitation and reablement interventions that promote recovery and improve quality of life.
  • We are looking for an Occupational Therapist who is motivated to contribute to service development and provide professional leadership within the multidisciplinary team.
  • You will act as a specialist Occupational Therapy resource, supporting colleagues with clinical decision-making, promoting evidence-based practice, and helping to drive high standards of patient care and rehabilitation outcomes.
  • Alongside managing your own caseload, you will play an active role in guiding and supporting therapy assistants, rehabilitation support workers, students, and less experienced colleagues.
  • You will help foster a positive team culture, contribute to quality improvement initiatives, and support the ongoing development of rehabilitation services across Intermediate Care.
