Are you an ambitious Occupational Therapist looking to expand your skills across a range of specialties while progressing your career in a supportive and forward-thinking Trust?

We are seeking motivated Occupational Therapists with excellent communication and clinical skills to join our expanding Band 6 rotational programme. This exciting opportunity offers a diverse mix of acute and community placements, enabling you to develop broad clinical expertise and gain valuable experience across different services.

Our acute rotations include exposure to a variety of inpatient settings, including our large and well-established Stroke Unit. We also offer a wide range of community opportunities, including rehabilitation and long-term conditions services, supporting individuals to maximise independence and achieve meaningful goals within their communities.

We are proud of our strong partnerships with community providers, creating opportunities for collaborative working and, where appropriate, additional experiences aligned to your professional interests and development goals.

The Rotations

Rotations into 8 different speciality areas:

  • Stroke Unit
  • Community UCR therapy team
  • Community TOCH team
  • Neuro Outliers (including ITU and Trauma caseload)
  • Bromley Stroke Rehab Team
  • Acute Medicine
  • Acute COE
  • Acute ED
  • Acute Frailty

Candidates

Essential Experience Required

  • Post-graduate clinical experience working as a Band 5 Occupational Therapist
  • Evidence of participation in In-service training and Personal CPD
  • HCPC registration and RCOT/BAOT membership

Candidates must have a professional, enthusiastic, friendly and flexible approach.

Working days and or shift patterns will be agreed by the line manager to meet the needs of the service, including shift patterns over 7 day period covering 8am-8pm in some services.

Informal visits will be available on request to shortlisted candidates.
