Exciting Opportunity: OT Band 6 Rotation at Victoria Hospital
We have an exciting opportunity to recruit to the OT Band 6 rotation to work within the acute services at the Victoria Hospital. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Occupational Therapist to work alongside colleagues in the Acute Medical OT Team (MOE & Respiratory rotations), the Frailty Team, the Supported Discharge Units, NTC and Hand Therapy and potential of further rotations added within the Victoria Hospital. Rotations will be 9 months in each area.
About the Role
A strong interest in working with a range of conditions (predominantly with patients living with frailty) to develop specialist skills and knowledge to deliver effective evidenced-based care, to optimise occupational performance and promote and support safe and timely discharge from hospital, is essential to the role.
Responsibilities
- Manage your own caseload
- Participate in multi-agency working
- Engage in quality improvement activities both collectively and independently
- Develop additional competencies within Physiotherapy and basic nursing skills to support integrated working

Location
Whilst the post holder should have the ability to travel throughout Fife effectively in a timely manner, the VHK is commutable from Lothian, Forth Valley, Dundee and Perth and car share amongst colleagues is often available.
