Band 6 Cardiac Theatres

A vacancy has arisen for a highly skilled and experienced Band 6 Senior Staff Nurse/Operating Department Practitioner with a broad clinical background and demonstrable management skills in adult & paediatric cardiac surgery.

You will need to be an experienced Paediatric and Adult Cardiac trained nurse who is proactive, self-motivated, and has very strong interpersonal skills, with a vision for service improvement. You will be expected to actively coordinate, support, and assist in the management and delivery of high quality care to patients during the peri-operative phase of their care.

You will be expected to support East Wing Cardiac Theatre in conjunction with the existing band 6/ 7 team, with an expectation of support across the other various specialities within St Thomas Hospital depending on service requirement.
