Band 7 MSK Physiotherapist
A new opportunity has arisen within the HHFT MSK Out Patient Service for an MSK clinician based on the Winchester site. We are able to support full-time and part-time opportunities both in MSK Physiotherapy and within the pain service, so are seeking those with a special interest in chronic pain management, as well as those with strong MSK skills.
Alongside MSK outpatient assessment and treatment, you will also help run caseloads within Winchester's brand new Fracture Clinic and Orthopaedic Outpatient Department alongside orthopaedic consultants and other MDT members. Or support in running the pain service, alongside the psychology team and other MDT members.
Predominantly working as a clinical MSK physiotherapist, you will also act as one of the clinical leads for the Winchester team, offering day to day clinical supervision and support. Time will also be given to allow for audit and research based projects aimed at developing and evidencing quality patient care.
We run a service committed to quality improvement, and have a QI Lead and Training & Education Lead employed within our team to help facilitate this.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
