We have an exciting opportunity for highly motivated Advanced clinical practice (ACP) physiotherapists to become members of our welcoming, innovative and knowledgeable Pain management team at the Royal Free London.
We are looking for an experienced clinician who has worked within Pain management services and as an Advanced practice physiotherapist. You will work alongside the Clinical lead ACP in Pain management and integrate with the Pain management multi-disciplinary team of Medical consultants, Psychologists and Nurses to support the holistic approach supporting people with persistent pain and long-term health needs. You will also provide clinical leadership and line management to our Band 7 specialist pain management physiotherapists.

As one of the most senior members of the Pain service and as an Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner, your role will include screening, filtering referrals and managing the care of those patients who otherwise would have been referred to and seen by a hospital Consultant. To achieve this the postholder will work outside the normal scope of physiotherapy practice, facilitating Role Redesign and Service Modernisation across Primary and Secondary care.
To provide the highest level of expertise on musculoskeletal pain conditions within the pain service, providing expert advice to other services and professionals including GPs and hospital medical staff.
Participate actively in the senior management of the pain service contributing to its wider support and development.
