The role strengthens the connection between central informatics functions and local site leadership, enabling the hospital to deliver safe, efficient, and patient-centred care.

This is a site-based role. The postholder will be specifically aligned to either Good Hope Hospital, Heartlands Hospital, Queen Elizabeth Hospital, or Solihull Hospital (one post for each site) and will work from their allocated site to provide a visible and responsive informatics presence. Candidates are invited to indicate their preferred hospital site at point of application.

Main Duties, Tasks & Skills Required

As a Health Informatics Business Partner, you will provide dedicated, site-based analytical, data, and insight support to senior hospital leaders.

Your day-to-day work will involve:

  • Working closely with clinical, operational, and transformation colleagues.
  • Understanding their needs.
  • Providing analytical support that drives service improvement, strengthens performance management, and contributes to better patient outcomes.

We are looking for an experienced analytical professional with:

  • Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
  • Experience of working with large, complex datasets and reporting tools including Power BI.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and explain complex information clearly to non-technical audiences.

The ideal candidate will be analytical, self-motivated, detail-focused, with strong problem-solving skills, the ability to prioritize, work independently, and contribute effectively as part of a team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
