Job Title: Clinical or Counselling Psychologist
Location: Callington Road Hospital
Department: Inpatient Psychology Team
About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to work at Callington Road Hospital. This role involves delivering psychological assessments, formulations, and interventions on Alder Rehabilitation Ward, as well as contributing to the site-wide psychology group programme. Our core model for delivering CBT-based interventions adapted for acute mental health needs is Comprehend Cope Connect. Experience of working on wards or with people experiencing acute mental health problems would be valuable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological assessments, formulations, and interventions on Alder Rehabilitation Ward.
- Lead team formulation and contribute psychological knowledge to the Alder MDT.
- Run a site-wide CBT-based group with Lived Experience Practitioner colleagues.
- Contribute to the Inpatient Psychology team, including the development and delivery of tasks relating to the Inpatient Transformation Programme.
