Are you looking for a new role as a clinical psychologist in CAMHS and have a dedication to offering services for children and young people?

We have an opportunity for a Highly Specialist Counselling/Clinical Psychologist within our Core Team in Solar. The Core Team is an integral part of the Solar service.

Solar provides emotional wellbeing and mental health services to Children, Young People and Families in Solihull (0-18).

Solar was set up as a service not about thresholds or tiers but about timely access to appropriate support in line with children and young people's needs. Solar aims to create a comprehensive system, designed around the needs of children and young people.

The main base for this post will be at Bishop Wilson Clinic in Chelmsley Wood. However, there may be occasions when you are required to work from other bases, including the Solar base at Fresh Fields Clinic in Knowle.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
