About the Role
We are currently looking for experienced teaching professionals to help us deliver high-quality programmes across all our pathways of learning for young people with a range of disabilities and support needs. This will include students with Acquired Brain Injury, autistic students, students with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD), Severe Learning Disabilities (SLD), and students with multi-sensory impairments (MSI).
With an understanding of a post 16 curriculum that prepares young people for adulthood, you will have experience of planning and delivering innovative and person-centred sessions to young people with complex learning difficulties and disabilities.

You will hold a relevant teaching qualification and we would be especially keen to hear from you if you have experience delivering a curriculum for:
- Digital Literacy / Digital Technology
- Social Enterprise
- Relationship and Sex Education
- Outdoor Learning
- Functional Skills
- English and Maths within a SEND (Special Education Needs) environment.
Your assessment of starting points, teaching skills that support young people to develop their skills, knowledge and experience for the wider world, as well as recognition and recording of progress, will meet required professional standards and ensure high quality provision for our students.

Location
This recruitment will be focused on building the team of bank tutors who can help support at our college at our sites in central Cheltenham and in Ullenwood on the outskirts of Cheltenham, Gloucestershire GL53 9QU (we can help with transport from central Cheltenham or Gloucester if required).
Contract Details
- Contract Type: Bank contract
- Contract: Zero hours - as required
- Salary: Based on £32,502 - £39,018 FTE plus 12.07% to include holiday allowance
- Location Status: On site (Ullenwood, Cheltenham)
- Interview Date: TBC
