Contract

We’re looking for a friendly Bank Catering Assistant to join our team at Sanctuary Care. In this rewarding role, you’ll support the preparation and serving of nutritious, well-presented meals at Trevarna Residential and Nursing Home. This is an opportunity to create a positive dining experience for residents in a calm and organised kitchen environment, with no compromise on your work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the catering team in basic food preparation and meal service
- Present and serve meals to a high standard for residents
- Adhere strictly to food hygiene and safety standards at all times
- Maintain kitchen and dining areas as clean, safe, and welcoming
- Collaborate with team members to enhance residents’ daily dining experience
Requirements & Skills
Essential
- A caring, enthusiastic attitude with a genuine interest in supporting older people
- Strong teamwork skills and a willingness to assist colleagues
- Basic understanding of safe food handling and cleaning practices
- Previous catering experience or a willingness to work toward a Food Hygiene Certificate
- Clear communication and adaptability to flex as needed
