Bank Catering Assistant
Location: Blackwood House, Roskear, Camborne, Cornwall, TR14 8BA
Salary: £12.71 per hour
Hours: As and when required – no late nights, no split shifts

We’re excited to welcome a Catering Assistant to support the preparation and serving of nutritious, well-presented meals at Blackwood in Camborne. Working as part of a friendly kitchen team, you’ll help create a positive dining experience for residents within a calm, well-organised environment.

Job Responsibilities
- Support the catering team with basic food preparation and meal service
- Present and serve meals to residents with a high standard
- Adhere strictly to food hygiene and safety standards
- Maintain clean, safe, and welcoming dining/kitchen areas
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance residents’ daily experiences

Requirements
- A caring, energetic personality with a genuine interest in older people
- Strong teamwork abilities and willingness to assist colleagues
- Knowledge of safe food handling and thorough cleaning standards
- Previous catering experience or a food hygiene certificate (or commitment to gain one)
- Clear, constructive communication skills with flexibility to adapt
