What will your duties include?

• Plans, performs and provisionally reports a range of complex and highly complex diagnostic neurophysiological investigations on adult patients from a range of specialities. This may be in the dedicated environment in Outpatients or in a non-dedicated environment i.e. Intensive Care Unit at 33 Grosvenor Place.
• To assist the Consultant Neurophysiologist with EMG and additional Nerve conduction studies where required.
• Plan, perform and interpret a range of neurophysiological investigations to a high level of competence, performing current standard techniques without supervision. The post holder must be able to modify the test according to the circumstances or the patient’s condition. They should be able to record using both standard and non-standard electrode placement with the exact placement of electrodes and recording procedure are the responsibility of the practitioner.

What we need from you?

• Experience as Associate Clinical Physiologist or previous experience as a Basic Technologist in Neurophysiology. – Essential
• Member of Registration Council for Clinical Physiologists (RCCP)/ Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) or equivalent. - Desirable
• BTEC HNC/D in MPPM / BSc Hons Clinical Physiology (Neurophysiology) or equivalent
• Ability to speak and write in English is required.
