Job Vacancy: Bank Cook
Location: Meyer House Care Home, 28 Meyer Road, Erith DA8 3SJ
Contracted hours: Casual, as-needed basis
Work flexibility: In accordance with your availability and the service requirements
(Hourly) rate of pay: £13.50

We're seeking a reliable and flexible Cook to join our bank staff team. This role is ideal for someone looking for flexible work, with shifts available to cover annual leave, staff absence, and increased demand.

You will have the opportunity to excel whilst:
- Supporting the Head Chef in their responsibilities which include but are not limited to the following:
- Preparing menus and agree them with the residents and the manager, including any resident preferences, special diets and specific foods as needed.
- Preparing and serving all meals in a timely manner.
- Maintaining the safety and hygiene of the kitchen environment.
- Ensuring compliance with statutory and company requirements on food hygiene, storage and temperature control.
- Supporting the kitchen team and liaising with colleagues from other departments.
- Operating an efficient stock control system.
