We are looking to recruit experienced delivery drivers, with recent delivery driving experience using light commercial vehicles with manual gearboxes, to join our Logistics team.

We undertake multi-drop delivery & collection of NHS related cargos to & from healthcare provider sites around Nottinghamshire & the surrounding counties using light commercial vehicles up to 3.5 tonne Gross Vehicle Weight.

You will work as part of a team undertaking scheduled delivery runs & ad hoc work on a scheduled rota basis working 7.5 hours per day between 6.30am and 8pm Monday to Friday.

The current site for Trent Logistics is Duncan Macmillan House, Porchester Road, Nottingham NG3 6AA where your working day will start & finish.

This is a zero hours contract and pay will be calculated hourly to include any holiday pay.

Main duties are to undertake the collection & delivery of NHS cargos including Pathology & Histopathology specimens, pharmacy items, mail, parcels, stock, and medical records, using light commercial vehicles.

The driving of a light commercial vehicle will take up at least 50% of the working day so previous similar experience in delivery driving for work is essential. Previous experience of multi drop work is desirable.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
