Spire Cardiff Hospital is looking for a passionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our busy and welcoming Outpatients team on a bank basis.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist the Outpatients team in the provision of exemplary patient care.
  • Contribute to the support, care and monitoring of patients attending the department.
  • Identify and report any significant changes that may affect a patient's health and wellbeing to the appropriate clinician.
  • Assist with the safe movement of patients in line with hospital policies and procedures.
  • Support clinical colleagues in maintaining high standards of patient care and service delivery.

  • Previous experience working as a Healthcare Assistant within a hospital environment.
  • Experience performing phlebotomy, ECGs, and patient observations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Desirable

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Experience within an Outpatients/Breastcare Department

You'll be passionate about delivering outstanding patient care, confident working as part of a multidisciplinary team, and committed to maintaining the highest clinical standards.

Working Pattern

Flexible bank shifts are available:

  • Monday to Friday between 08:00 and 20:30
  • Saturday between 08:00 and 13:00
