Spire Healthcare's Montefiore Hospital is looking to recruit an enthusiastic, professional and customer-focused Bank Imaging Administrator to join our friendly Radiology team on a flexible bank basis.
This role is ideal for an experienced administrator who enjoys working in a busy patient-facing environment and can provide exceptional customer service while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the Imaging Department. As a Bank colleague, you will work on an as-required basis to support the department during periods of annual leave, sickness absence and increased service demand.

Duties and Responsibilities
As a Bank Imaging Administrator, you will play a vital role in delivering an excellent patient experience and supporting the efficient operation of the Radiology service. Duties will include:
- Welcoming patients, visitors and consultants in a professional, friendly and caring manner.
- Registering patients and booking appointments accurately using hospital systems.
- Managing Imaging bookings and ensuring appointments are scheduled efficiently.
- Providing administrative support to radiographers, radiologists and the wider department team.
- Preparing and collating documentation required for examinations and reporting.
- Managing incoming telephone calls and email enquiries professionally and efficiently.
- Liaising with consultants, GPs, patients and internal departments to coordinate appointments and investigations.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring compliance with data protection requirements.
- Supporting the department to deliver an outstanding patient experience at all times.
- Presenting a professional image and adhering to hospital policies and procedures.

Who We're Looking For
We're seeking an enthusiastic and organised individual who thrives in a customer-focused environment.
Essential requirements:
- Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role.
- Experience dealing directly with patients, customers or members of the public.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Confident telephone manner with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible approach to working patterns and availability.
Desirable:
- Previous experience within a healthcare, medical or hospital environment.
- Knowledge of appointment booking systems, patient administration systems or Radiology Information Systems (RIS).
- Understanding of healthcare terminology.
