Key Results

  • Deliver a full and timely commercial and personal laundry service for all sites of St Monica Trust, as required.
  • Control of laundry stores and equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Comply with Health and Safety regulations and legislation in relation to tasks undertaken and to report any situations that could be considered hazardous.
  • Open, run and close the laundry service on Saturday mornings and times when the Manager or Senior are away.
  • Build good working relationships with colleagues (including in other teams) and treat every item that passes through the laundry with care and attention.
  • There may be occasions when you need to support with the transport of laundry between sites, to be agreed from time to time with line manager.

  • Write notes and messages – numeracy, literacy and verbal skills.
  • Communicate with people with differing communication needs.
  • Encourage and influence.
  • Understand and follow instructions and procedures.
  • Strong customer service skills.

  • Experience of operating machinery.
