The Scottish Ambulance Service is a vital part of NHS Scotland, delivering urgent care and support to more than five million people across the country. Every day, our teams combine clinical excellence with compassion to protect life, support recovery, and make a meaningful difference for patients and communities.

We’re looking for a motivated, caring Vaccinator to join our Vaccination Team and help expand access to immunisations across Scotland. This service delivers a wide range of vaccinations, with a particular focus on reaching remote, rural, and under-served communities. In this role, you’ll play a key part in protecting public health and helping to reduce health inequalities while working as part of a supportive, professional team.

The post sits within the Infection Prevention and Control Department (Clinical Quality & Professional Development Directorate). You will be supported day-to-day within the service and report to the National Vaccination Operation Manager.

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with excellent communication and organisational skills. The successful applicant must:

  • Be a Registered Health Care Professional
  • Have completed the TURAS modules Promoting Effective Immunisation Practice (PEIP) : Registered Healthcare Practitioners learning programme
  • Flue modules
  • Have experience working within vaccination services
  • Be proactive and able to work well as part of a team
  • Hold a valid UK driving licence with C1 or D1 category
