As a Bank Band 6 MSK Physiotherapist

In the HCH MSK Physiotherapy team, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team of highly experienced physiotherapists, in a fast-paced environment providing high-quality physiotherapy care to the borough of Hounslow. Our large team consists of a physiotherapy assistant, band 5, 6, 7 physiotherapists, Band 8a Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioners, and a Physiotherapy Consultant. Bank staff will be supervised by a senior physiotherapist during their time in post. You will be integrated into the team, which is focused on delivering high-quality care at the right time and place, in our main clinic based in Isleworth and at outreach clinics in GP practices.

About the Role

As the successful candidate, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to quickly integrate into the team and build rapport with patients. Highly developed organizational skills are required to manage your own caseload and work effectively within a team. Strong ability to prioritize and make sound decisions, sometimes under pressure, is required. You will carry a varied caseload of musculoskeletal complaints, often complex, with a view to utilize all treatment and care options as appropriate, with the support of a named supervisor.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
