Spire Cardiff Hospital is looking for an experienced and motivated Orthopaedic Outpatient Nurse to join our Bank team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse with orthopaedic and plastering experience to join our busy Outpatients Department. Working alongside experienced Orthopaedic Consultants and multidisciplinary colleagues, you'll play an important role in supporting patients throughout their treatment journey, helping to deliver an outstanding patient experience from consultation through to follow-up care.

About the Role

As a Bank Orthopaedic Outpatient Nurse, you will support the delivery of high-quality care across our Outpatients Department, with a particular focus on Orthopaedic services.

You will work closely with consultants during clinics and procedures, undertake patient assessments, support diagnostic investigations and provide patients with advice and information throughout their treatment pathway.

A key element of the role will be supporting Orthopaedic clinics, including the application and removal of plaster casts and splints, ensuring patients receive safe, effective and compassionate care at every stage of their treatment.

At Spire, you'll work in a modern, patient-focused environment where quality and care come first.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
