We are looking for an experienced and motivated Bank Pharmacist to join our Dispensing Unit team at Lloyds Clinical in Glasgow. This flexible bank opportunity is ideal for pharmacists looking to supplement existing commitments while supporting a specialist pharmacy service on an ad hoc basis. The team operates Monday to Friday, with ad hoc bank shifts typically available between 9:00am and 5:00pm to support annual leave, sickness cover, and wider operational requirements.
Working within the Dispensing Unit, you will provide pharmacist support across the department, undertaking accuracy checking and final release checks of dispensed medication while ensuring the highest standards of patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. You will also support the wider pharmacy team by covering Dispensing Unit Pharmacist duties as required and contributing to the smooth and efficient running of the service.

About You
You will be a GPhC-registered Pharmacist with previous experience working within a hospital, homecare or specialist pharmacy setting. You'll have strong dispensing experience, ideally gained within a busy, high-volume dispensary, and be confident supporting the operational demands of a fast-paced service.
We're looking for someone with excellent clinical and professional judgement, a thorough understanding of GPhC standards and pharmacy governance requirements, and the ability to make informed real-time decisions that balance patient safety, customer needs and operational priorities. Experience acting as a Responsible Pharmacist, supporting final release activities, supervising colleagues or students, and working within oncology, aseptic or GMP-regulated environments would be advantageous.
