Are you an experienced Pharmacy Technician looking for flexible work within a hospital environment?
Spire Bristol Hospital is seeking a motivated and reliable Bank Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy team on a flexible bank basis. This role offers the opportunity to work on an "as and when required" basis, providing cover during busy periods, annual leave, and sickness absence.
Working as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, you'll play an important role in helping deliver a safe, efficient, and high-quality pharmacy service to patients and staff across the hospital.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the pharmacy team in delivering an efficient and patient-focused pharmacy service
- Assist with the safe dispensing and distribution of medicines
- Prepare medicines, equipment, and materials for pharmacy activities
- Accurately dispense prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist
- Prepare small batches of pre-packed and over-labelled medicines
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with regulatory requirements
- Support stock management and routine pharmacy administration
- Escalate any concerns that may impact patient safety or service delivery

Who We're Looking For
- Previous experience working within a pharmacy setting, either hospital or community-based
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong numerical, literacy, and organisational skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- A professional and patient-centred approach
- Experience of administrative processes and maintaining accurate records
