Dorset County Hospital Bank Physiotherapy Positions

Dorset County Hospital, in partnership with Dorset Healthcare University NHS Foundation Trust, are recruiting B5 Physiotherapy Bank workers. This opportunity is ideal for recent physiotherapy graduates living in the Dorchester and surrounding Dorset area who are looking to gain valuable clinical experience, develop their skills across a variety of specialties, and enjoy the flexibility of bank working.

About the Role

Dorset County Hospital offers the opportunity to work across the acute inpatient site, outpatient clinics, rehabilitation facilities, and community as a B5 Physiotherapist. The bank Physiotherapy role will support service vacancies and can be in any of the following areas.

Our 4 month rotational posts include a wide variety of specialties including:

  • Older Persons Wards
  • Acute Stroke and Neuro
  • Stroke & Neuro Rehab Unit (Yeatman Hospital)
  • Early Supported Discharge Stroke (Dorset Healthcare)
  • Orthopaedics (Elective & Trauma)
  • Front of House (Emergency Department & medical assessment unit)
  • Acute Care (Respiratory, Surgery, Medicine and Intensive Care)
  • Musculoskeletal outpatients
  • Community Rehabilitation Team - bedded rehab (Westhaven Hospital, Dorset Healthcare)
  • Integrated Community Rehabilitation Team (Mid-Dorset, Dorset Healthcare)
