Bank Physiotherapist - The Cherwell Hospital - Bank Hours

An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen for highly motivated Bank Physiotherapists to join our busy Department at The Cherwell Hospital in Banbury, Oxfordshire.

We are looking to appoint HCPC registered Physiotherapists to join the Physiotherapy team as a member of our bank staff (zero hours contract) to cover weekday and/or weekend shifts (inpatients or outpatients). We are particularly interested to speak to people with post graduate MSK experience.

The workload as an outpatient service is post operative rehabilitation pre/post orthopaedic surgery, and MSK assessment/treatment. The department is open 6 days per week 8am to 8pm with flexible shift time options available within these times.

The inpatient team manage an orthopaedic and day-surgery caseload across 7 days.

The Role:

The purpose of this role is to provide the highest quality of physiotherapy services to patients and visitors at The Cherwell Hospital. To be responsible for outpatient, inpatient and day case physiotherapy services as required and to liaise closely with all other members of the multi-disciplinary team.

What you will bring:

  • Degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy
  • HCPC registration
  • Membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Experience in MSK/orthopaedics
  • Ability to demonstrate good clinical reasoning processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to organise and prioritise
  • Good understanding of CSP Standards of Physiotherapy Practice and Rules of Professional Conduct
  • Flexibility
