Bank Project Worker (Support Worker / Support Assistant)
Location: 3 Charles Street, Grays, Essex, RM17 6DX Salary: £14.57 per hour Hours: Flexible, including evenings/early mornings (5–8am & 10pm–1am)
About the Role
There are joining Sanctuary Supported Living as a Bank Project Worker. We are a homelessness charity dedicated to putting people first, and are dedicated to helping individuals rebuild their lives with dignity and independence.

Your Responsibilities
- Support vulnerable individuals who have experienced homelessness to regain independence and confidence
- Assess needs and update support plans in collaboration with service users
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer enquiries and concerns
- Foster empathy-driven relationships, respecting choice, privacy, and dignity
- Collaborate with external partners to enhance mental wellbeing, health outcomes, and employment opportunities, while encouraging rehabilitation and development
- Travel may be required, therefore a valid driving licence is desirable
*(Note: This role may also be formally titled as Support Worker, Support Assistant, or Independent Living Assistant.

Your Skills & Experience
🔹 Experience supporting adults experiencing homelessness 🔹 Strong sense of compassion, flexibility, and enthusiasm 🔹 Ability to work collaboratively and independently 🔹 Excellent organisation skills, strong literacy & numeracy 🔹 NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (preferred) or commitment to working towards it 🔹 Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related technologies
