Spire Leicester Hospital Opportunity
Spire Leicester Hospital has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Quality and Governance Administrator to join our Clinical Governance team on a Bank basis.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced administrator looking for flexible working within a healthcare environment. As a Bank colleague, you will provide support to the Clinical Governance team as required, helping to ensure the smooth and effective delivery of governance, quality and consultant compliance activities across the hospital.
Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Clinical Governance Lead, you will provide administrative support across the department, including:
- Supporting the audit programme, including monitoring compliance with AMaT.
- Monitoring the completion of monthly and quarterly AMaT audits across hospital departments.
- Ensuring the hospital database of local policies remains current and up to date, including supporting hospital teams with document control.
- Supporting the Clinical Governance Lead in monitoring compliance with the DATIX incident database, including sending reminders and monitoring the closure of incidents and associated actions.
- Supporting the hospital with PSQR activities and preparation.
- Providing administrative support for key clinical governance forums.
- Attending the hospital's clinical governance meetings, including Standards for Hospital Governance, and supporting with agendas, minutes and action trackers.

Who we're looking for
- Computer literate with a strong, demonstrable understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Educated to GCSE/GCE/CSE standard in English and Mathematics.
- Articulate and compassionate, with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues.
- Able to analyse information and solve problems effectively.
- Self-motivated, organised and able to work independently within the scope of your competency.
- Previous experience working within a healthcare setting is desirable.
- Previous administrative experience within clinical governance, quality, compliance or a regulated environment would be advantageous.
Working Pattern
Bank | Flexible hours
Working hours will be offered as and when required, based on the needs of the Clinical Governance team. Shifts will typically fall Monday to Friday, between 8:00am and 6:00pm.
