Job Title: Bank Receptionist / Administration Assistant
Department: Administration
Responsible to: Team Lead
Hours: Bank - Casual Hours, flexibility required from Monday to Sunday between 8am-8pm
Rate of Pay: £13.40 per hour plus 12.07% WTD

We are looking for professional, organised, and customer-focused Bank Receptionists / Administration Assistants to support various departments across the hospital on an as-needed basis. In this flexible role, you will provide reception and administrative support, acting as a first point of contact for patients, visitors, and colleagues while helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of services across the hospital.
Essential
- Maths and English GCSE (or equivalent)
- Ability to work on own initiative and under pressure
- Evidence of working effectively as part of a team
- Proven ability to manage workload and prioritise competing demands
- Relevant experience working in an administrative environment
- Experience in a customer-facing role
- Understanding of the importance of confidentiality
- Strong IT skills
- Excellent customer service skills and an understanding of how these contribute to the organisation's success
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Flexible approach to work and availability to support different departments as required

Desirable
- Experience within a healthcare environment
- Experience working in a reception role
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including patients, visitors, staff members, suppliers, and other external contacts
- Experience using healthcare or appointment management systems
