Bank Ward Nurse / Registered Nurse

Location: LS23 6LP

Contract Type: Bank / zero-hour contract

We are recruiting for a Bank Ward Nurse / Registered Nurse in the Wetherby area, paying up to £32 per hour. The role desirably needs flexibility to cover shifts across multiple locations when needed. This would suit an NMC-registered nurse with ward, theatre, outpatient, general surgery or ophthalmology experience who is looking for flexible bank work within specialist eye care.

This is a great opportunity for a registered nurse with ward, theatre, ophthalmology, peri-operative or outpatient experience who is looking for flexible bank work within a modern specialist eye care environment. You will work as part of a skilled multi-disciplinary team, supporting patients throughout their ophthalmic surgical pathway.

Job Purpose

As part of the clinical team, you will provide safe, high-quality care to patients before, during and after ophthalmic procedures. The role will include supporting the surgical and refractive pathway, providing peri-operative and post-operative care, and assisting the wider clinical team to ensure a smooth and positive patient experience.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
