As a Bank SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for providing classroom support, assisting with personal care routines, and facilitating engaging and enriching activities tailored to each child's unique strengths and interests. Your role will also involve maintaining detailed records, communicating with parents and caregivers, and contributing to ongoing assessments and reviews.

Qualifications
The salary for this position ranges from £14.65 to £15.50 per hour, depending on your level of experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive wage, our client offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes:

Qualifications and Experience
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Teaching Assistance or equivalent
- Experience working with children with special educational needs, preferably in an educational setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting exceptional learners
- Proficient in the use of assistive technologies and adaptive equipment
- Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development opportunities
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with special educational needs
- Assist with the delivery of tailored learning programmes and therapeutic interventions
- Help students with personal care routines and daily living skills
- Facilitate engaging and enriching activities that cater to each child's unique interests and abilities
- Maintain detailed records and contribute to ongoing assessments and reviews
- Communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and other professionals
- Collaborate with the teaching team to develop and implement effective strategies
