The Role
As a Bank SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils throughout the school day, helping them access learning, develop confidence and achieve positive outcomes.
Working closely with teachers and other professionals, you will play a vital role in ensuring every child receives the support they need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities
- Support pupils with Autism, SEMH and communication needs
- Provide one-to-one and small group interventions
- Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom activities
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
- Encourage independence, social skills and confidence
- Support pupils during transitions, breaktimes and enrichment activities
- Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs
- Maintain accurate records where required
- Follow safeguarding and child protection procedures at all times

Location
This role is based near Attleborough, Norfolk and is commutable from Attleborough, Wymondham, Thetford, Diss, Norwich, Watton, Hingham, Dereham and the surrounding Norfolk villages.
Please note: Due to the school's rural location, applicants will need access to their own transport.
