Radiographer Bank Team Opportunity

We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced Radiographers to join our bank team. Shifts will be on an ad hoc basis and based at Lewes Victoria Hospital, Uckfield Community Hospital, Chailey Clinical Services, or Crowborough War Memorial Hospital.

About the Department

Our departments consist of:

  • 3 well-equipped digital x-ray rooms
  • 1 CR x-ray room
  • 3 ultrasound rooms
  • A brand new Bone Densitometry suite

The department performs a wide range of X-ray examinations from a variety of referral sources including Primary Care, Musculoskeletal services, and the Minor Injury Unit on-site. We provide an X-ray and Ultrasound service for the local population and Bone Densitometry scanning for a wider population within East Sussex.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake radiographic examinations using analytical, judgemental, and physical skills to achieve the appropriate high-quality image.
  • Liaise with referrers and service users to maintain an efficient service.
  • Assist referring Emergency Nurse Practitioners in the Minor Injury Unit by employing the Red Dot Scheme for identifying abnormal appearances on x-ray images.
  • Use the CRIS radiology information system for patient management, data collection, and storage. Use PACS for data management and storage. The information on both these systems is shared with other sites.
  • Be aware of the Trust’s emergency planning processes and follow such processes as necessary in the event of a sudden unexpected incident.
  • Work with the Radiology Team Leader to ensure the day-to-day smooth running of the department including absence cover.
  • Take responsibility for Health & Safety issues and reporting within the department.
  • Undertake training as necessary in line with development of the post.
  • Participate fully in the development review (appraisal) process and undertake Continuing Professional Development as required.
  • Participate in the out of hours radiographer rota at Uckfield Community Hospital.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
