Bank Specialist Nurse | Abergele Clinic | Flexible Hours | Bank | Free Parking & Excellent Benefits
Spire Abergele is looking for a Bank Specialist Nurse to join the team on a bank basis. Spire Abergele Clinic provides outpatient and day case treatments by a team of dedicated consultants and healthcare professionals.
We are looking for a Nurse from an outpatient setting or theatre to work across the clinics we offer which include Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Gynaecology, Urology, Orthopaedics, Breast, and Vascular.
Clinic Opening Hours
Shifts will range between these times:
- Monday - Friday 08:00-20:00
- Saturday 08:00-16:00
- Sunday - Closed
The responsibilities of this role will include:
- Run nurse led clinics and assist in pre-operative investigations
- Carry out any other duties delegated by the Clinic Manager / team leader for the proper and efficient care of the patients and the smooth running of the department
- Chaperone and assist Consultants during examination of the patients and minor surgical procedures and assists in arranging investigations requested by Consultants
- Complete documentation to a high standard
- Carry out individualized nursing care and procedures to the highest standards complying with hospital policies and procedures at all times
- Maintain and provide patients with relevant and accessible written information regarding their procedures / treatments

Who We're Looking For:
- Current NMC registration with no restriction on practice
- Competence across a range of nursing skills
- Experience of working in teams with minimum supervision
It would be advantageous to:
- Have experience of working in outpatient or a surgical environment
- Be ECG and Phlebotomy trained
