About Us
Ocean Adventurers is a leading children's indoor play centre group, providing families with a fun, safe, and memorable experience. We're looking for enthusiastic and flexible individuals to join our team as Bank Staff General Assistants, supporting our busy periods, parties, weekends, school holidays, and special events.
Position Overview
As a Bank Staff General Assistant, you'll play a key role in helping the centre run smoothly. This flexible, casual role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to different tasks, including café operations, customer service, and party hosting.
Key Responsibilities
As a General Assistant, you'll help create a fantastic experience for every family who visits Ocean Adventurers by:
- Greeting guests warmly and providing excellent customer service.
- Assisting with café operations, including food preparation, coffee making, serving customers, and operating the till.
- Serving food and drinks efficiently and with a positive attitude.
- Hosting children's parties and helping to ensure special celebrations run smoothly.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety throughout the play centre and café.
- Tidying play areas, resetting tables, and supporting the overall presentation of the venue.
- Assisting children and families where needed to enhance their visit.
- Working collaboratively with the wider team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

What We're Looking For
- Aged 18 or over.
- Previous experience in hospitality and customer service is essential.
- Friendly, confident, and approachable with excellent communication skills.
- Flexible and available to work shifts as required, including weekdays, weekends, school holidays, and occasional evenings.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Reliable, enthusiastic, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service.
