Role Description
The Bank Support Worker role is based in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk. The role involves providing day-to-day support to individuals, promoting independence, support, fun, laughter, and lots of cups of tea. The Bank Support Worker will observe and follow safeguarding procedures, maintain accurate records, and communicate effectively with colleagues and external professionals.

- Candidates should possess experience or training as Support Workers, with a strong focus on trauma responsive, person-centered care and independence support.
- Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills and communication abilities to build trust, listen effectively, and collaborate with individuals, families, and colleagues.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of safeguarding principles and safe working practices, including recognising and reporting concerns appropriately.
- Candidates should possess basic technical support skills to use and troubleshoot electronic care records, communication devices, or other relevant equipment.
- Candidates should ideally have prior experience in social care, community support, or similar settings and be able to work flexible hours when required.
- Candidates should ideally hold a relevant qualification in health and social care or be willing to work towards one, and have the ability to maintain accurate documentation.
