Bank Residential Team Leader

Salary: £15.08 per hour

Hours: Bank - Zero hours

Shift Times:

  • Days - 07:45 - 20:15
  • Nights - 20:00 - 08:00

Shaw Healthcare is looking for a passionate and caring Bank Team Leader who is ready to make a positive impact at Brynhyfryd, situated in Builth Wells. The purpose-built service provides residential and nursing care for older people with physical frailty, and for older people living with dementia.

Job Responsibilities

As a Bank Residential Team Leader, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of person-centred care and supporting your team to uphold those standards in everything they do. This will include, but not limited to:

  • Lead by example, providing guidance and support on shift to promote best practice.
  • Administer and record medication safely in line with Shaw policies and procedures.
  • Report changes in residents' needs or well-being promptly to the Line Manager.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date care plans and documentation.

Qualifications And Experience

  • Experience working with older people in residential care.
  • Completed or working towards your NVQ/QCF Level 3 Health and Social care (or equivalent).
  • Flexibility, patience, caring nature, organization skills, and great interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead a team and use own initiative.
