The Department
The Finance Department plays a pivotal role at the Club in supporting our long-term ambitions both on and off the pitch. Operating at the heart of a fast-paced, high-performance environment, it is the engine that keeps our Club stable and able to compete sustainably. The team provides the insight and control that underpin our decisions – from managing budgets and cash flow to overseeing player transfers and regulatory reporting.
The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Banking and Reconciliation Assistant to join the Finance Team. You will work closely with our Ticketing and Hospitality teams, analyse daily revenue, reconcile and integrate transactions into our finance systems, allocate incoming payments and investigate any discrepancies. You will also support a range of sales ledger activities, including processing payments, maintaining customer accounts, raising invoices and credit notes, monitoring outstanding balances and assisting with month-end procedures.
This is a varied and hands-on finance role where accuracy, organisation and attention to detail are essential. You will act as an important link between our sales and finance systems, helping to ensure transactions are processed efficiently and in line with the Club’s financial controls and procedures.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
